This wild trek in the Langtang region takes you to the high pastures of Kyanjing Gompa. It offers spellbinding view of mountain peaks, herds of yaks and forgotten monasteries along the trail. The closest trekking area from Kathmandu, the region offers you a unique Himalayan cultural experience. You walk across the high glacial valley of Langtang and come across villages inhabited by Tamangs and Sherpas. The trail is dotted with small gompas and you are greeted by trains of yak caravans, prayer flags fluttering in the breeze as you head up to Kyanjing Ri (4984m) where you soak in the breathtaking scenery under the gaze of Shishapangma (8013m).
