The Jhomolhari mountain is sacred to the Tibetan Buddhishts who believe that it is the above of the five Tsheringma sisters who are the female protector goddesses of Tibet and Bhutan. We begin our trek from Paro and cross high altitude pastures, yak herder settlements, pristine forests and high passes. It offers your magnificent views of Jichu Drake and Jhomolhari. We visit the several magnificent dzongs and several cultural sites and experience the vibrant and colorful culture of this magnificent kingdom. The day hike to Taktsang Monastery also known as the Tigers Nest perched high up a cliff overlooking the Paro Valley is the highlight of the trip.
