The trail passes through richly forested valleys to high alpine pastureland where Yak herders graze their animals. The sight of massive mountains that reach out to touch the sky against the blue sky is a rejuvenating experience. The area is home to rare flora and fauna. Possible encounters with blue sheep, and even the rare snow leopard make the trek very interesting.
